The launch of The F-Word, a book by Mita Kapur was a delicious affair. Held at the cosy Café Zaffiro in the capital the ambience was just perfect for a discussion on food accompanied by savoury food and drinks. Renowned foodie duo, Rocky and Mayur, engaged the author and the audience in conversation and people didn’t realise how time flew by.
As the light-hearted session with Mita Kapur narrating anecdotes progressed, the audience’s anxiousness to sample some from the author’s repertoire was summed up by Namita Gokhale. “When will we get a chance to taste some of your wonderful recipes,” asked she, and Mita called for trays of some of her lip-smacking fare that left everyone asking for more.
